Hi,
What are the  specifications of the cells found in a stock Univibe(MKY-78)
Where can i find the datasheet?

To the best of my knowledge, you can't.

I spent quite a while looking for that a few years back, no results. I think they were a custom number for the maker, whether they were a relabeled standard part or not.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Hi,
Thank you R.G., .I saw a shoot of a stock Univibe at the Fulltone website  and the cells have metal ring around them;are they stock cells?
I would try the  Mouser n° you give as the best LDR replacement type for your very good Univibe Clones but there's no Mouser distributors  in Europe but i've found three differents LDR at RS components.Could you help me to choose a model close to the Mouser's LDRs?

There's nobody in there?

Hi.  I found this thread looking for information about MKY-78 CdS photoresistors.  I scanned an article that might help in finding photoresistors that will work with a Univibe.

nice find, Toynbee, and welcome to the forum.
