Tonepad layouts

Good evening, have been looking at the MXR gate pedal on the tonepad link, everything looks to be in the off to build, with the scaled layout for etching the pcb if I was going to use a plotted to cut the mask in vinyl does the image need reversing as it it displayed with the writing backwards also has anyone build this if so what size enclosures were used and are there any pics for how the 1/4 jacks and trim pots and power conctions were mounted/connected
