Is anyone making MN3007s anymore?

I've got several on-hand and not really looking, but a little disconcerting that they're out of stock in all of the usual places I've checked recently.

EDIT: this isn't a 'who's selling them?' inquiry - more of a 'are they now completely obsolete?' one.

Panasonic stopped making them in the mid-90s.  There were also NTE/ECG equivalents (ECG 1641 IIRC).  I have no idea who made the NTE units.  Conceivably they were Panasonic units wth a house number, but I'll let someone with more inside perspective correct or confirm that.

With the re-introduction of the CE-2 in "Waza" form, it is possible that Roland has decided to get some made.  Given their buying power, that's eminently possible, since they have had a variety of proprietary chips made for them.

DO NOT let this start any rumours, though.  I'm just saying it's financially possible for them to do so.  Steve Daniels has noted that one company has startedlimited production of MN3005s, so who knows....maybe.  As near as I could tell, the 32xx series was developed to cope with issues arising from trying to run delay pedals off 9v batteries.  Those days are pretty much behind us now, so the sonic possibilities of the 3007 begin to trump the battery-conquering qualities of the 3207.
