anyone got a EHX SIGNAL PAD?

i would love to see the guts if you have one.please!

i'm just curious as i'm having this annoying 'click' issue...(only noticable with gain and delay)

and want to see if, or how they got around it...

i know its a passive vol, but was wondering if there was any trickery to totally eliminate

the noticable click.....cheers in advance...

Hi,

Dirk Hendricks got given an EHX signal pad and posted the schematic. His drawings are always correct, I have tried to post the pdf but it looks like diystompboxes can't directly attach the file  So..... I will describe the schematic.   

true bypass switch-  from switch to top of 1m log pot ( Lug 1) - pot bottom  to ground (lug 3) Lug 2 to output of 3pdt switch.  220p cap across the pot (hot to ground )

thing is i get a 'click' when going into distortion...(noticable with delay)

its fine when clean...

hence the 'back off' thread...

just seems no way around it..

have you tried pull down resistors on input/output? in case something else before or after is leaking...

if you have a scope to see what happens where
or maybe disconnecting the LED, it might be some problem with the grounding
