Wooden enclosures?

I've used/use similar to above, but they don't look anywhere near as good as the Lyons boxes. the wooden cheeks have "steps" cut in them that support the metal (the vinyl covers a multitude of sins) all the way around. you can size the metal as you like when you cut it from an old pc. that's if you don't need all wood construction.

Thanks for the ideas! I'd rather not product it myself, as I'm looking for something that can easily be mass produced in the future.  But I've gotten some really cool ideas for design from you guys.

Jewelry box with the middle drawer removed. More fiberboard than, but you get the idea. Still had to countersink the holes.
