So i've built a ts808 using tonepad schematic, as I;ve did many times before.

For some reason my tone pot is having some issues, whenever i turn it to max or lowest there is no sound what so ever.
voltages

8 8.93
7 7.93
6 1.5
5 4.27
4 0
3 4.47
2 4.48
1 4.53

any ideas?

Section two of your opamp (pins 5,6,7) show something wrong.

Pin 5 is at what I suppose the bias voltage to be, but pin 6 should be the same voltage, and so should pin 7. It is likely that something is holding pin 6 down. Check your circuit to see if there is a soldering or parts placement error around pin 6.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Is the tone pot shorting out on something next to it when you twist it, or is it a bad pot?

@ Jimlee

Bad pot was my first thought, so I've tried 3 different pots, and results were the same.

@ R.G.

I'll check pin 6. Thnx
