I saw this while i was looking in the gallery.I'm a little confused about what this is.Is it a a buffer or a volume control? Thanks in advance. http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/DRAGONFLY-LAYOUTS_0/album19/album145/CLEAN_MACHINE_LAYOUT_CORRECT_001.gif.html

I didn't know it, but it could be a kind of volume with treble bleed, if the name is right.
Happens, sometime, when we use the volume of the guitar we loss some treble. Some guitars have a cap on the volume pot like that, indeed.
I guess it can be used like an external guitar volume.
It DON'T add treble.

It's simply a volume-reduction preset, with a bypass cap on the pot to retain the treble that gets heard less when SPL is reduced.

So, it is what I thought, I guess. ;)

If you keep it in front of your drive pedals this pedal reduce also the gain, nice trick.
In the end of the pedal chain you can control the master volume.

Wow, a battery clip and a wall wart jack just to light the LED.

Needs more SMD and ribbon cable.

Hey Mark. Can I use this treble-bleed mod in place of the 100pf cap? http://www.stewmac.com/Pickups_and_Electronics/Components_and_Parts/Capacitors_and_Resistors/Golden_Age_Treble_Bleed_Circuit.html One other question I had was the blue wire on the diagram that looks like it's spliced into the other wires from the jacks. Is this just meant to show these are all ground points? Thanks Mark!

Yeah you can use that treble bleed instead of the 100pf and yes the blue wire is just showing that all those points are all ground.
