How do I add a 'clean blend' control to this ? ?

Hey guys,

So as stated in an earlier thread, I'm building one of these for someone:

He wants an added 'Clean Blend' control on it. Someone said they used and recommended this blend control:

Can someone explain to me exactly how both circuits are joined together so that they work together?

I just find it all a little confusing to work out, especially with the blend circuit diagram showing In, Out, Send and Return.

I'm sure its straight forward enough and I am just being thick. I just presumed it could be in the same enclosure as a blend control and sits as a daughter board next to the fuzz circuit. I just can't get my head around how to join the two up.

In is to the input jack, Out is to the output jack, and send and return go to the in and out respectively of the animato board.

Input and output jacks in this case will actually be going to the bypass switch (i would assume).

What Chuck said! Send and Return go to the in and out of the effect you want to blend, then you can can treat the in and out of the blend circuit as the main in and out.    Think of the fuzz as the daughterboard rather than the blend control.   The blend is top dog.
