EHx Ring Thing: mod for exp.pedal to control Blend?

The EHx Ring Thing has an expression pedal jack, but it only controls frequency of the oscillator.  Is it possible to modify it to control the dry/wet blend instead?  Is it possible to just move a couple wires from the Freq pot to the blend pot?  Or does it use a more complicated path, controlling it digitally?
