@ 55 cents each they are half the price of the alpha ones. they are the 16mm ones. i know taydas are .50 cents but mammoth is in OKC and im in little rock ,Ar and shipping is 2.80, vs 5 bucks from tayda, ive never ordered from tayda bc im to impatient to wait weeks for delivery.

I ordered a few on my last order from them just to see and honestly I can't tell the difference between them and the $1 alpha pots.  Looks the same, knob turning feels the same, sounds the same, measures the same.  The only plus you get from Tayda is that they put a rubber cover on theirs so you don't short out anything.

Those are Alpha pots, just with Mammoth stamped on them.  I remember when Mouser used to do that too, I probably have a few of those around here somewhere.

Tayda has a warehouse in Colorado, and it doesn't take weeks to get your order.  Well, I've only ordered from them 3 times so far and my order has always shipped from CO.

I feel the mammoth pots have a smoother turn than the tayda alphas. I quite like them, and plan on placing an order for more of them to take care of my next few builds
Dave's not here, man

My orders to Canada have come from Singapore.  Mind you, it has been a while since the last order.  On some occasions, it has come from Germany.

I think the international orders get routed into Colorado, after I order from them it always takes a few days for it to show up there, and then takes another day or two to get to Nashville.

Yeah TBH I'm not really sure how they route the orders.  My most recent one did not ship out of CO for several days after the shipping label was created, but I figured that one was a flub up, package fell under some equipment or something.  The other two shipped out of CO within a couple days, enough time for the orders to be picked and packed, but seemingly not enough time for them to have come from overseas.

But, the solid round shaft 16mm Alpha pots that Tayda carries come with a 6mm shaft instead of the more common 1/4" (6.35mm).  And even Tayda doesn't carry many 6mm set screw knobs.

AH things make a lot more sense now.  I didn't realize that!

if you order off ebay from thaishine then yea it comes from colorado, but lately ive noticed not all items say that you will recieve in 4 days, just USA shipper. I ordered some trip pots from thaishine bout the 1st of december and it took 8 or 9 days to get them, the shipping date indicated by ebay showed a week. Plus i hate the fact that you cant get full solid shaft solder lugs, plus values are seriously limited,  but yea ive order right angle ones, the split shaft ones, and the stupid solder lug ones with like a mm of solid shaft at the top and they are very stiff, i do like the fact that you get the covers, but i just use a piece of electrical tape , or double sided to hold pcb down and havent had any issues w shorts. I normally order from small bear because selection is so much better, and the few mammoth order i made took forever to get , and it kinda pissed me off because i could drive to there warehouse in less than 4 hours and the 3 orders i made all took a week to get, so ill prob make an order from them for a bunch of pots but other than that i cant see any reason, theyve limited there parts selection when they made over website,  and i have no interest in paying 300$ for some keeley modded tube screamer, or $20 plus dollars and prob 2 plus weeks for a custom enclosure. my build skills are sloppy at best, so im at the point where if i cant build pedal at serious value then id prob just buy manufactured pedal, there are soo many different companies and they all gotta come out with new stuff all the time you can normally find really good deals one certain pedals that just werent big sellers. I got a dod phaser, the reissue blue one for 39 bucks new couple months ago , anyway thanks for info about the mammoth pots, good to kow they are alpha, and have smoother rotation
