Well I've just finished my first humble buffer on breadboard using the muzique buffer from the dr quack envelope. I've used an mpf102 jfet a Russian PIO on the input and vishay cmf60 resistors with Panasonic 10uf film on the output.

Gotta say for a simple little design just sitting on a board I think it sounds pretty darn good!!! :)

Has a nice warm tone to it, smooths out the highs, not dull, but takes the edge of the highs!

Think an addiction is about to start!!! :) what's next? Should I look at another buffer, gain, maybe a passive EQ with an additional gain stage!?

Any ideas on what I should do next to expand and venture further into the addiction..

Thoughts welcome

Peace :)
