adding on/off switch to pickup simulator ahead of fuzz face circuit?

hi everyone. i recently built a fuzz face and was reading into this article here (http://www.muzique.com/lab/pickups.htm)regarding pickup simulators to help aide a fuzz faces placement in the chain with other effects(wah specifically). i'm going to use the circuit per the article, just input going into a small 42TM019 transformer into a 25K resistor then into a 330pf then into the fuzz face circuits input (in my case, I actually have a 250K pre-gain knob to mimic the guitars volume, then into 'input'). what I would like to do and what i'm having trouble understanding the wiring with, is adding a switch to bring the pickup simulator in or out ahead of the rest of things. so I can have a way to A/B it really and see if the simulator is to the circuits detriment when on. figured it'd be neat to have on there anyway (more switches yay!). but does anyone happen to have a wiring template or something that can kind of lead me by example to getting the switching right. i'm not even sure whether i should be using a spdt or a dpdt so any help would be much appreciated.

If you're wondering how to wire this up, firstly, you are correct that you need a DPDT. In fact, you can wire it up just like a true bypass:

The only difference here is that the 'effect send' and 'effect return' go to the in and out of your pickup simulator addition.

thank you so much guys, kind of embarrassed to ask as this seems dead simple but this is the stuff that I just cant get in my minds eye right.
