Hey peeps,

Trying to figure out a simple single switch stereo looper. I use a Digitech Stereo Looper which works great but adds a bit of noise even when it's not active but won't pass the signal if not powered up. I basically want to be able to leave it on my board but have the option to just remove it from the signal chain if not in use.

I'd like to route it through a stomp box switcher. Left and right signal in. Stomping the switch will change whether the signal goes straight through to left and right outs for amplification or whether a stereo loop is added (L/R out to Digitech and L/R return).

So, a total of eight mono 1/4" jacks and one footswitch. I'm not bothered about an on/off LED so the box shouldn't need power.

I tried to build one based on my (poor) brainstorming and it didn't work. I suspect this is super easy but I just can't see it. Ideas?

Any help greatly appreciated!

There are 4 pole stomps. But you could put two stomps beside each other (you could do the LED with a battery). I have one stereo pedal with that. And you could loop L and not R which might be neat.

Thanks, I think I figured out while lying in bed last night how I could use a 4PDT footswitch would work. Gonna work on just the straightforward switcher first, then maybe experiment with bringing individual loops in. May end up using it as a stereo to mono sum, may add mini toggles in-line with the loops.

Thanks for the suggestions!
