Cabsim wiring options

Hi,

I'm going to put dr Boogey and a cabsim into one enclosure. Any wiring recommendations and suggestions ?

Possible options:

- one, switchable output (direct/cabsim),
- two output jacks, switchable,
- two paralell outputs. Not sure here.. is there any kind of signal splitter required, or just simple passive Y split?
- other..?

2 outputs - Line and Cabsim.

I wire the cabsim as "always on" but, you could make it switch off when not being used...

This way there is no need for any splitter or anything...

This is what you can do with it setup like this.
You can run from the line/preamp out and cabsim out simultaneously
You can bypass the dr.boogie and still use the cabsim out so, you can use it as a cabsim only... nice option if you have other pedals/preamps you want to run through the cabsim..

You could put an FX loop before the cabsim if you have FX that you want pre-cabsim but, that may be more jacks than you can get into your enclosure.. Also, you could make the FX loop switchable to pre-cab and post-cab..

It's a tempting option to have FX loop. Not sure if there is enough room  additional jack sockets. I might try to put dr. B and a cabsim on a single pcb to save some space.
So far I have removed jack socket from Lart's cabsim and moved aroud some components in order to shrink a pcb.
