Cot50 or SHO for bass?

Morning!

Anyone here ever modded cot50 or SHO for bass guitar? if so... Just wondering how it sounded?  Lot's of simple bass od and boosters out there, but I hate how most fart or burp out the bass notes.  While on the subject... what is this Angus mod i've heard about for Cot50?  Can't find a layout or schematic so far, would love to try it out.

You know those are pretty different - the COT has clippers, right?
Clippers might be a bit much. 2 cents:I always thought bass dirt needed a clean blend control, and possibly a little complementary filtering on each. IMO, this opens up a lot of options for which dirt circuit you use.

The clipping diodes can be switched off if needed..
