What type of tonestack do i need?

So i've built a Tweed champ Preamp with jfets. Sounds good, but i wanted to add a tonestack after the first stage. What i want is the clean sound to be more clear i present, i suppose it needs a little bit more treble and less bass and mids. I was looking at the fender tonestack in the Duncan software and the tone loss is enormous, especially the mids -25db. At the point im afraid the sound would change drastically, plus i would have to add another gain stage to boost the signal. The marshall looks better at -10db, but i dont know how these circuits would change my sound.

I tried changing the values of the Fender tonestack, C3 to 22nf and R4 to 50k, and the mid loss looks more reasonable at -15db, plus i still have room for treble boost. Again, i have no idea how much this will change my sound, i need your help from experience

Here are some pics of the sound waves from the software, comparing the stock Fender tonestack and the one with modded mid values

Heres my schematic, the tonestack will go where the gain pot is

What's it gonna cost you to breadboard with tone stacks and series them one after the other,  after your circuit.

You can get an idea from the charts and figures and tone stack calculator.

More importantly Is     what you hear.
my hearing is probably very different to yours.

Once you have the tone stack of choice on the breadboard you can swap out values until you get it just how you like it.

I too build a prof tweed. Nice circuit RG.

I wasnt content with the stack on it so I used a tweeked version of an AMZ stack.
seen here

http://www.muzique.com/lab/tone3.htm

labelled the Version 2 of the AMZ Tone control. The one with the 25k Body pot. 250k tone.

I tweeked it some and was very happy with it. I sold it.

Sorry if these posts are boring but it costs me lots of time to buy components. There are no electronics shops where i live, nearest one is 60km away but they charge a lot, so i basically have to order on Tayda and wait two weeks for each order.

That amz presence control looks cool but it's not really what i need. I guess ill just try the fender tonestack with a couple different values, if theres too much volume loss ill just add another gain stage. Thanks!

A buffer for the tone stack might be more useful there.

You're not boring me.

I too have to wait for tayda orders the same amount of time.
I live in the stix.

If you have the header type pins we use for transistor sockets. You can use those in a build for swapping cap values until you have it how you want it.
I hope it's a fruitful search my friend.

Have you seen the little kits of ceramic caps. I keep one around just incase i forget to order.
resistor kits are dirt cheap if you have the time to look through a lot of listings.
