A number of synth-builders asked me to get this, but the applications for FX are surely there as well. The datasheet is here:

The 3320 is 4 OTAs configured/optimized for filter use and can be configured as allpass, meaning that a single chip can form a 4-stage phaser.  In fact, the data sheet shows just such an application on page 4.  Interested parties can check out Thomas Henry's PAL Filter project, or CRaig Anderton's "Multiple Identity Filter" ( http://www.synthdiy.com/show/?id=624 ).

I'll be submitting my own order shortly!

I've been playing with the Alfa clone of the same chip, the AS3320. Sounds great, and I expect the Coolaudio ones are exactly the same.

About the only limitation for stompbox use is the 15V minimum supply requirement. Rack effects, anyone?! ;)

More like charge pump and a 15V regulator.
