Shielded cable?

Does anyone have any recommendation for thin non bulky easy to use shielded
Cable for basic input and outputs. Inside pedals

I used one a while ago which was excellent. Maybe Belton

But can't remember where or what it was .
What do people here use?

Sometimes inside PC's and other gadgets, you'll find some shielded cable you can steal.   I recommend destroying a NON WORKING PC for this, though, LOL 

RCA cables!  Cut 'em up.  They are smaller gauge than guitar cable, very flexible, and do a GREAT job of shielding!  You can find them in refuse centers for free, or in a dollar store for....a dollar!   

Small headphone cable!  Once you've destroyed the 'phones, cut it up!

I'd have to look, but I may have a nearly full roll of two conductor plus shield wire in my supplies.  I needed a tiny bit but had to buy a whole roll to get it.  I will see if I can figure out what I bought or perhaps sell you my roll at a nice discount (if you are in the US).

Found it nicer to work with foil shield plus separate shield wire than braided shield cable.

I use RG-174 quite often. It is excellent for use as shielded wiring in pedals. Small, flexible, etc.

The RG-174 center core is a bit rigid when compared to the typical stranded wire we use for builds (the 174 center core is stranded though) but, I have never had a problem using it and it is extremely flexible.

I've used rg179 to replace the 10ft of high capacitance internal wiring inside my Epiphone Wildkat.
I also used it to wire the reverb pans (short and long pan hooked up to u 4PDT switch) in my Surfy Bear setup, straight to the pan connectors as there was no room left for a standard rca jack.

I choose this cable because it has lower capacitance than the rg174 and it was the thinnest coax cable I could find.
But I would not use it again for these purposes.
It's very rigid and the stranded core is so thin. (7 x 0.1mm vs 7 x 0,16mm for the rg 174)
The insulation doesn't melt when soldering which was a plus.
I also wish it was black. The brown/beige looks ugly and really shows up through the f-holes of my guitar, especially against the black shielding paint background.

when using the thin PTFE insulated coax with braided screen the easiest way to strip back and expose the core is to remove the sheath, tin the braided sheild, score it aound the circumference with a knife at the sheild length you require then snap it off. The you should then be able to slide the unwanted sheild  section off the inner core.

Personally though I tend to use a flexible cable with lapped sheild, Jaycar and Soanar code WB1500.

I strip a 1/2"/1cm from the shield, wrap the base of exposed shield with a lead, solder and snip off the excess shield, heatshrink.
