Breadboarding a Fuzz Face (Hornet) issues

I haven't ever done it that way, but I trust AMZ 100%.

Works perfectly except for a little oscillation!  Gonna do a little research and sort that out.  Pedal rips!  Thanks so much for your help

regarding the polarity issue, batteries last in these circuits for a ridiculously long time so in my fuzz face builds to avoid any potential daisy chain issues i've just used a battery, stereo input jack and no DC jack.  i'm pretty lazy though

Due to my own laziness, I would so much rather avoid ever having to open the pedal again to add/remove a battery and just throw a Dc jack in right out of the gate.  I did that according to the link I posted a few replies back and it worked great!
