Boxing Up - can't decide on options

Hello everyone!

So I've come to the great box-up watershed, happy with my hybrid fuzz on the breadboard, and also happy with a rangemaster on another breadboard (I have a bunch of little ones I link up)

I've tuned the Fuzz to be my primary clean/drive sound when the guitar vol is lowered, and lead tone when maxed. Its more towards OD than velcro Fuzz.
I'm ommiting any controls, no knobs, cause I'm not a fan of them.

I've tuned the rangemaster to be a bit more of a mids boost than upper mids.

I have a 1590BB ready to go, and currently in three minds:

1) Simple and Decisive:
Both in the box, but the Fuzz is always on (clean sound on guitar vol), just one switch for the RM in and out for lead boost.

2) Sensical:
Two footswitches on box for either (could use the RM alone for thick amp tone)
I'm not a huge fan of two footswitches next to each other, though.

3) Versatile:
Seperate boxes (get a 1590B for the RM) - could change the order and try other versions, etc

I'm the singer in a three peice, original songs, rock/blues, so I hate stepping on a pedals too much,
prefer the guitar volume. Want at least one thing to step on when things need to get out of hand, though.

Having the Fuzz always on is a tempting thing in my mind, to commit to a base tone, but maybe it's a bit too minimalist.
Just one less thing to worry about on gig setup.

I vasilate between the options and it's stopping me from drilling the darn box...

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I'd go for 2) . You already have the 1590BB box so you don't have to buy/wait and you'll get more control if you can turn either effect on or off.
Economical aspect aside, 3) is more optimal, as you can add to your setup or experiment. Maybe one day you'll get a better fuzz to put in front of rangemaster?

Thanks!
Yes, I'm gonna go with 3)...I feel like this fuzz version deserves its own box anyway.
On the way to finding this tone, I came across a few that I want to box up as well,
And have a lower gain one, a pure germanium one with external bias, and then a tonebender  :icon_razz:

After going a bit crazy with buying transistors, I have a few good combos to use up.
