Selectable transistor help

Mornin,

I'm building up another Gus NPN Booster and would like to add a DPDT toggle to switch between a high gain tranny and a low gain tranny.  I've done this before, but can't remember exactly how I did it.  I had 2 legs form each going to poles on the switch and one of the legs tied together, but can't remember which (C or E) was tied together.

Anyone follow what I'm trying to do?

Alright...I admit, I didn't use the search function before I posted.  I found my answer. 

And now back to your regularly scheduled program....
