FX Loop for Preamp

Hi guys,

I'm planning to fit an overdrive and a delay in one box (1790NS) and thought of including an FX loop for a preamp should I need to plug this straight to a power amp during rehearsals.

I stumbled upon this switched jack from Tayda and drew this diagram via Paint. So in case where I won't be needing a preamp, the OD OUTPUT goes straight to DELAY INPUT. And in case where I plug a preamp into the pedal's FX loop, the jacks automatically switches the OD OUT to PREAMP IN and PREAMP OUT to DELAY IN.

Is this correct?

Thanks Paul. If I rewire the internal jacks of the preamp to make just one I/O stereo jack, I presume this one would work too?
