Hi fourm. I recently received as a gift a Electro Harmonix Metal Muff With Top Boost effects pedal. I am having a hell of a time finding a schematic for it. Can anyone send me one or direct me to one? My email is chuck93274@gmail.com

I need to find out how to change the IC chips in it back to stock, and how to replace 3 surface mount resistors, and a technique on how to solder them lol.

Also I need to locate all the jfets on the board...

Its problems:
This pedal only gives sound at %95 volume turned up, when it goes below that its silent. Also when the distortion is turned up all the way, it gives a real bad his sound. The horrible sound almost reminds me of the EH Worm, sounds like raking pea gravel or something like that.

I have pics!!! lol 8)

Thanks.

Those three resistors I am pretty sure are

R58
1M chip resistor

R59
1k chip resistor

R61
220k chip resisor

I need to find these replacement chip resistors. Then I gotta figure out which IC chips this pedal uses and replace them. I think there are 4 of them?

One last thing lol I got a lot of tube amp questions.... Can someone recommend me a good guitar tube amp forum to check out?

Gotta peer close to the screen to read it but I think this one is it. Im still new to reading these things.  :P

My setup is a work in progress:

Ohm's Law - much like Coles Law, but with less cabbage...

Ice-9

Broken pot for %95 volme problem, from the schematic it looks like the 4 IC's are standard 4558 op amps.

Please at least have 1 forum post before sending me a PM demanding something.
