Hello everyone, just wanted to know if anyone has ever tried mounting the regular Neutriks Rean open jack on a 12mm hole. It fits perfectly on the center of the hole and seems to have a dented part with gets attached pretty well to the enclosure and it doesnt slip when you are adjusting it. I wonder if this is the right way to mount them. i have always used 8mm holes and it was very hard to torque them without having them spining on the other side. I have to say that i broke one of them once with this 12mm method but i was aplying extreme force. Only problem is that they end up being to long on the outside of the enclosure.
Is there any risk in doing this? i notice how the jack gets compacted as i torque the nut. Maybe im just destroying them?

Ideally for the one i measured, 10mm hole with an outside - 'star' lockwasher  on the inside of the enclosure.
