Cornish TB83 Clone

Hi, this is my first post. I surf the forum often.

I have just built a TB83 clone https://shop.pedalparts.co.uk/May_83_Treble_Boost/p847124_19972110.aspx

I actually got the guy to print the boards based of the schematic on this site. Like many have said it's a little dark, maybe due to C1 being 10nf ? My knowledge is very limited.

Iv heard there is a simple mod you can do the lessen the bass a bit. Obviously everything is soldered firmly in place.

For less bass, I'd try reducing the bypass cap (C5) to a smaller value.
