I'm doing some PCB and faceplate layouts because i'm bored. Thought i'd throw a fuzz face together which will be germanium so positive ground but i'll use a voltage inverter.

I'm using relay bypass with a 555; negative ground. Am i going to run into issues with this? My instinct says no, ground is ground and the two different sources of power are referenced relative to it and do not interact...but just want to double check.

Thanks

You've basically made yourself a bipolar power supply.  The 555/relay bit happens to live in the positive side and the fuzz in the negative side.  All is good.
