I was looking for two 0.1 ohm resistors ....
What would you use such a tiny resistance for?

Went to my favourite electronic speakeasy today.

At A-1 Electronics, you knock on the door and Glenn comes to the door but doesn't open it.  He asks what you want and you tell him.  He then goes and looks for it, brings it to the door and checks that you agree with what he has picked and if you are satisfied, he will go to the cash register and calculate the price.  He tells you to put the money on the table outside and then tells you to back off while he takes the money and then goes to the cash register and gets your change and puts it in the bag with the components and closes the door.  In this case, I was looking for two 0.1 ohm resistors and two 0.1 µF capacitors that came to a total of $1.70.

Does this sound like a drug deal to you?  I may be a low-roller as customers go but I wonder how much business he is losing due to people's inability to browse?

Did you leave him a tip?

I need to browse, not spending much money these days other than groceries.

My next door neighbour just gets her dope delivered to the house, no time to go out with home schooling and all.

I am building an amplifier with the strangest circuit topology you have ever seen (once I publish it).

Seeing as the bag of parts weighs only a little more than an empty bag, a kilo would definitely be in the marijuana league.

Yesterday I saw a real live performance.

The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen was doing a "take away" event in the backyard of the building where I grew up. My son recently got an apartment there so we saw it from his balcony.

It was really great. First an opera singer sang an aria and then two dancers from the royal ballet did a pas de deux. Lastly there was sing along.

People where cheering and applauding from windows and balcony's. So much fun. And I could wave to my mom who was watching from her window.

Dude, don't embarrass us. These are resistors, not potatoes. The term of art is, ahem, "a kee".

Not just inability to browse, but an inability to have customers that require one's services, that in turn require parts.  As hobbyists, our parts-requirements depend on us, and no one else.  If I was a repair-person, I likely wouldn't have many strolling into my shop with a busted this or that, and wouldn't have many house-calls.  So I wouldn't be frequenting parts distributors, whether they were industrial specialists or surplus houses.

This is a big deal. At my day job we place several multiple-thousand dollar orders a month at digikey and mouser, but all our approved PCB fab houses are closed down. No point in ordering components if we can't get boards to put them on.

Huh? 0.1r resistors make sense. Passing cash/goods through a glory-hole is the fad this summer. But WTH kind of drug can you get for $1.70? Canadian?? Even my old-man pink pee-pill is $1.90.

Well, i have recorded a couple of songs with my daughter, son and wife, but the wife wont let me post them, so there you go...  Also finished my RC 30" catamaran with my son:

We started scratch building it about a year or more ago, but I never had time to work on it.  Quarentine came, and boat got finished!  That thing is FAST!  I estimate 60mph or so.  Then my son asked how we could race with only one boat, so I built a deep V as well (24"):

Not yet finished that one (just put the name - QUARANTINE, obviously! - on today, and I am working on the outdrive now, as it arrived today).  But I expect this one to be in the 40mph range.

Also finally got around to finishing my MXR Noise Gate clone:

And since the new pedal case arrived, redid my board to include the newly finished Looper 8, along with the new power supply, and incorporating the tuner into the pedal case.  It looks messy, but it works!

I also built my Quackmire and my OCD Overdrive (though I still need to troubleshoot them, as they are not working!)
I build.  I fix.  I fix again.  And again.  And yet again.  (sometimes again once more).  Then I have something that works! (Most of the time!).

How do you make those beautiful graphics????

I have been working at home since March 12. I have not worn jeans since. Basketball shorts around the house, and when I leave the house once a week, these ugly MF's:
