remote wah pedal

Dear all,

I am preparing for a wah build. I read "the technology of wah pedals" (GEOFEX, RG Keen) and saw the mention of the resistor to ground wah.
More specifically, mention was made of converting a inductor wah to a inductor wah - single variable resistor to ground:


However, the drawing is too basic for me to know what goes where: 1) where do I connect the new pot (single variable resistor to ground). 2) what do I do with the former 100k wah pot in the schematic and 3) what is the additional resistor that is shown? (function and value)

Background information:
I would like to build a inductor wah and use a remote wah pedal connected via trs jacks to control the effect via a photoresistor-led pair.
I tested with a photoresistor, led and 10k expression pedal in series with a 1 k resistor. I got 5k to 75 k range on the photoresistor, which I think is suitable for the standard vox wah (however, this was in a cardboard box and therefore potentially not fully dark => max resistance may be higher when in enclosure).

I found the solution in rg keens technology of the wah. It was the schematic of andertons wah retrofit. Sorry for the confusion!
