Germanium Fuzzface biasing points for NPN AND PNP differ from each other

Hello everyone. I keep noticing when building Fuzzfaces that if i use Germanium NPN transistors with almost the same specs , leakage and hfe than Germanium PNP i have to lower Q1 resistor. With stock resistors, Q1s colector will be so low that it will missbias Q2. Usually i have to stick with 12k in Q1c. I wonder if this has anything to do with the structure of the NPN and PNP transistors or its just coincidence. I tried with a couple of different types and i always get these differences
