I recently received a Boss DS-1 without a spring. Doing a Google search for the spring led to "go to the hardware store" answers.

I'm here to say that Amazon has the spring, 30 for $10: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08F9YQQZ5/ . I tried it out and although it's not the same exact spring, it does the job for 33ยข.

And, for posterity, the spring measures: 10mm OD, 0.8mm Wire Size, 17.5mm Compressed Length, 35mm Free Length.

I hope this helps someone in the future.

Plus $5.37 for shipping and it'll arrive in two weeks.

I love small bear and would totally do that if I had another order with them going, though.

i just put in a piece of thick tubular slingshot rubber.
works good, it kind of kinks when you press in the pedal, instead of it compressing like a spring.

cheers
friendly reminder: all holes are positive and have negative weight, despite not being there.

I think you mean "posterity".

Not that I mind prosperity. Everyone deserves that. :icon_wink:
