howdy,

nearly done with my PLL ONE build from dead end and ran into a snag: i am uncertain how to connect power to the device. what kind of jack do i need to install, and does it connect to the C/A pads on the PCB?

Since the PLL One needs to be powered by a 12V AC (notice that is "AC" and not DC) wallwart then it does not matter which wire goes to either the "C" or "A" pads. As for the jack, you can use a standard stompbox power jack like all other pedals BUT, just make sure your 12V AC wallwart has the proper barrel connector to fit it.

Good Luck  ;D

P.S. Also remember to label the box or power supply for the PLL only. You do not want to plug a DC wallwart into this pedal AND you do not want to plug a 12V AC wallwart into any pedal that needs DC.

I would be put a unique jack and plug on the adapter and enclosure to make it impossible to plug the adapter into a DC jack.

I've a couple small Molex parts, panel mount 2 conductor receptacle, a 2conductor line plug, 0.062 sizes ready for whenever i pick up the project again.
