I finally built a pair to taste: one extremely scooped (traditional?) and another the most mid-boosted as possible.

It's on your taste and rest of your rig.
If you want some classic Big Muff vibe, go for the taditional scooped values.
For a more tone bender, and a bit of high pitch (Escobedo triple fuzz like) I've recommend the values that bump mids.
And which values sounded the best?

I went for the same 6.8nf as you have used and it does sound much better than that traditional.

I'm trying Si and Ge clipping on a DPDT now. It sounds so nice when I put the clippers across the Volume pot. Not so great across the Tone pot. But I think there is another possibility of connecting the clippers after Q1, correct?
