Can these 2 be run with 18v?

Hey I was curious if I can pump up the voltage on these 2 circuits, one is tube.

The first one is the Pentaboost.

And the second one is the marshall shredmaster, which I've used this layout with TL072s.

Pentaboost - yes, IF you hold the heater at the required 1.25V, which is a maximum rating.   And if the caps in it are rated higher than your supply (the 1uF's particularly want to be over 25V, the smaller ones are generally 100v rated).

Same caveat with the Shredmaster - the TL072 is rated AT 18V, so you don't want to exceed that by much (or any)....and the caps need to be appropriately rated.

Thanks so much, I blew one 5672 by accidentally hitting the heater with 9v!

Actually tl072 rated for +18 and - 18 volt, so 36 total. It used in klon with - 9 and +16.2 without  problems. So 18 volts is totally safe for this opamp.

Yes, that's correct...+/- 18V, differential of 36V.   I always sort of 'lose'  that fact.
