TL083CN Replacement

Does anyone know of a replacement for a TL083cn. 

I have an old soundtracs mixer in need.

Welcome to the forum.

TL08X are the "low offset" chips that are selected for terrific dc performance compared to the TL06X and TL07X. Typically, these chips are more likely to appear in a voltage control circuit than an audio path. However, the "3" would typically indicate 3 opamps being in that chip, where I would typically see 1, 2, or 4. So, that's weird.

That is weird. TI don't seem to admit a TL083 existed - I can't find a datasheet. It could be a "special" marking for a big customer or even a printing error, it happens to postage stamps!
I suspect a TL084 will replace it. I believe RME use TL08x series in their audio interfaces which isn't that different from a mixer in some respects.

Just found a few of these the other day parting out some specialized handmade test boards. I had to look twice at the number. I'd mail them to you for postage but might cost more than their worth.

There was a complete parallel universe between LM741 (+ complete set of variations of single/dual/quad/uncompensated/offset pins) and the TL08x series.   The TL085 (and TL075) was the odd one because it was intended to be the JFET input "replacement" for the RC4136 which had a different pinout to the common quads.

None of the offset pins are used in the circuit so I guess a dual op amp will work once I figure out a way to do it.
