Hello everyone, i built the Mad Professor White Snow auto wah, this thing works fine and sounds really nice.
The other day, after having played with it and while the circuit's pots, jacks, battery were connected with alligator clips,  due to hangover tiredness, don't ask how 🤣, i managed to short the 9V battery.
This happened about 1-2 minutes or so, realized it when saw the battery got hot 🤣. Instead of connecting the red clip from positive battery pole to +9V rail, i connected it to the battery negative pole. Spaghetti alligator clips case.
So +9V rail was simply disconnected, but ground rail had both negative and positive poles connected to it😄.

The effect works fine (like before) after that and all voltage measurements seem fine. Is there any reason i should worry about?

Other than liver cirrhosis, none.!!  :icon_lol:

P.S.
Just check your battery health (voltage).. :icon_wink: :icon_wink:

+1 what Antonis said. The circuit will be fine, but the battery will have had a hard time and might not be much good any more. Test it and see, and don't expect too much.
