Any love for the M65831 DIGITAL ECHO (DIGITAL DELAY) ?

Seems it was used in the legendary Ibanez EM5 pedal (They distorted the feedback path. Was that to emulate some tape saturation ?)

Where else ?

Are there any kits out there that use the M65831 ?

Any hacks ?

How does it compare with the PT2399 ?
