A lot of my first builds were ROG builds back in 2007-2008. Lots of fun there. All the great stuff others have contributed inspired me to create several of my own designs and provide them to the DIY community. That's the great thing about it, it's self sustaining.

Twenty years ago was the birth of runoffgroove.com, created first as documentation of my DIY effect pedal projects and eventually growing to share original circuits.

I created the site to give back to the community that taught me and it's been a privilege to provide inspiration to others.

Thank you for all your support as well as much gratitude and respect to my collaborators, Gary and Sebastian.

Congrats on 20 years!

ROG was a big help in learning about circuits and circuit design when I first started. Thanks so much for keeping it going all these years!

1) Are there parts you relied on a while back that are either hard-to-get, obsolete, or eclipsed at present?

All those J201s!   ;D

Great work! I still check it on occasion. Some of the first projects I ever built were ROG projects. Lots to learn and great original ideas.

I recently made layouts for the 22/7 and UBE Screamer! Posted to OSH Park! Order some boards and build the classics from the early DIYStompbox Circuit Design Contest.

I still remember when I built my first circuit (a bazz fuss, back in 2002), your page was really helpful.

Happy birthday, ROG!
