Limburg is the lowest green appendix of a province, i live just above its top (Arnhem) while the cheese is made near its bottom. living so isolated from the rest of the country, their accent has evolved out of the range of being understandable for about half of all dutch people.

Had a friend i visited a number of times over a few years that lived in Nijmegen, last time i passed through Nijmegen and vicinity  was at what ended up being the tail end of a months long cycling adventure with my wife, heading south looking for warmth.

Odd — shouldn't kwarks be "flavourful," by definition? Subatomic cheese ain't all it's quarked up to be, apparently...

Yes, but not as flavoury as matured cheese

Yeah, I like mature Strip Cheese artists too !!

They make me scream Good Gouda, Good Gouda, Good Gouda....

and you dont even need to ask for Parmesan when you take off their Brie_ssierre.

what was it Einstein said about cheese - didn't he try to whey the universe or something?

Had Ron posted in this thread, we could have lept on his reply - he's always putting a positive spin on things. sorry, no cheese reference.
