Hi there, I buit an equinox II reverb and it works at first try so I am very happy :icon_mrgreen: but I would like to add an LFO for modulate the signal..how can I do it? Can anyone suggest a simpe lfo circuit for this ?

ps. can I just use a bigger pot for a longer reverb time?

cheers

I actually just did a new reverb project based on the Equinox II, but with modulation and a little longer/richer delay time. You can find schematic, build documents, board layout, etc. here: https://scientificguitarist.wixsite.com/home/spare-room. I even have a couple spare boards if you are into the surface mount thing.

The pot is a "mix" control.  It doesn't affect the reverb time per se.  (The delay times on the two PTs are fixed.)

What do you want to modulate?

(Edit: can you believe I posted this without reading Brian's reply?  Coffee.  Need.  Coffee.)

Ohm's Law - much like Coles Law, but with less cabbage...

basically I want to do what ripthorn already did. I want  modulate repeats...I guess. :o

If you read my page for the project, it breaks down how it all works and how to do it. You can adjust the lfo to taste, but I spent a good while dialing it in. You really only need subtle modulation to make it work well.

how can i change rate and depth of the lfo?

Ripthorn

R29 controls the rate, with smaller being faster. The ratio of R30 and R31 control depth, but you should aim to keep their sum to around 680k-1M to prevent loading on the PT2399 pin 6, which I discovered can have some interesting problems if you don't.
