Q1 in an NPN Tonebender Mark I

I built up an NPN Mark I on vero a few days ago using all AC176's -- it sounded quite good in its own right (great, actually!) but when I A/B'd it against my PNP build (Q1= OC75, Q2-Q3 = AC125) I think it needs adjustment at the Q1 spot in order to get closer to the original circuit's sound.  Any recommendations for an NPN equivalent to an OC75 that might do the trick?  Aiming for an HFe of 65-70 with leakage of 300ma or higher.
