I was looking at all the multi effects on the market, like the Carl Martin quattro, flyrig, Valentine dapper, sonicake boom ave, etc
Anything that would completely fit my needs for bass. Can you point me where to get a similar enclosure? I'd out a 4-5 knob preamp, chorus, maybe a simple sinthy like nurse quack.

Hi Adriano,

I think there are usually sold as "looper enclosures" or something of the kind. Many options here:

But armed with some product names, you may be able to find a local source, too.

There's this - you can saw the rackmount ears off

I'm lucky to have access to a good deal of discarded studio or IT rack equipment.  If the holes in the chassis aren't what I want, I cover them with a 1u rack panel.  Know anyone at a large television or radio station? Maybe even an engineer?  They throw stuff out all the time.  I'd gladly give you one if you're ever in New York.  Around 40cm wide, 10-15 cm deep, and 43mm high. Good luck!

You want a Hammond 1590BX

That's a great box, 1590BX2 (shallower) as well, but the 2.76" depth is on the small side for knobs.

Be neat to co-op the eurorack form factor, with the rack rails and spacing, for a multi-effect. Once the box is fabricated, the effects are easy, just one flat plate to drill. And it would save the box from being obsolete, when you want to change one of the effects. Geofex has an article about "FX Rack", that idea, but using the eurorack rails and dimensions.

I put the knobs on the top edge when I built this in a BX2:

I found DaierTek 1032L, which has the same dimension but it's taller
254x71x52.5mm - bx2 is 35mm tall

Very nice! I like you can see the knob setting from the top with those Gibson knobs. Any pictures of the insides?

You can also look for sloped console enclosures.
