What value pot for preamp to poweramp level control?

Hey,

Does anyone know what value pot to put between Preamp OUT and Power amp IN of a hot rod Deluxe?

I read some say 50k-100k, just wanted to double check.

Not too critical. Too low a value might lose a little bass in the pre-out output cap but even a 20k pot gives down to 16Hz. 100k pot would be the max value without affecting its log taper. 50k or 100k are good choices.
