Hello, this is my first post on this forum. Ive been making a fuzz face pedal for some time now it was working while it was on my breadboard but now that ive designed my own PCB and soldered it all up it doesnt work anymore.
The sound is coming through my amp and the A100K pot is successfully changing the sound based on its resistance.
Im wondering if my PCB design is bad, my schematic or is it my craftmanship :icon_lol:
The B1K potentiometer for fuzz doesnt do anything while im turning the knob around
The solder on the images used to be way better be ive been trying to switch up everything to see if I've wired anything wrongly.. Any ideas?

Usually I dont ask for help and try to figure out everything on my own but ive been stuck here for a while and was wondering if anyone has any idea?
Im down to answer any questions needed.

Welcome to the forum.

According to your schematic there are two problems.

The fuzz pot is backwards - meaning clockwise is LESS fuzz. This is easily correctable with wiring.

The input cap C2 is backwards. If you are getting sound then it hasn't failed yet, but probably will eventually. The positive end of the cap needs to be at higher voltage than the negative end, which in this case means the connection to Q1's base.

Also note that if you are using a linear taper fuzz pot, the range of variation will be crowded at one end of the pot with most of the pot range having very little fuzz. A reverse audio taper pot works best.

As for the PCB - I can't really make out the correctness of the layout from what you've posted, but assuming it was generated from the schematic it should be okay. One thing to watch out for is the orientation/pinout of the transistors.

Welcome!  Check and re-check all of your wiring. The jacks, and if you have installed it, and the footswitch especially!

If you still cannot find the problem, please post the answers to the questions on this page: https://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=29816.0 back here, which will help us to see if there is something wrong on the PCB.

Wasn't it everybody's first pedal?  ;D

With that 8k2 what voltage do you get at Q2 collector?
Low gain Silicon FF calls for a lower value, say 3k3 to 4k7. But this has BC109s...

no such packages, but you can install "Quad Cortex", "Helix" or "Kemper" instead.
