Some pictures and voltage readings will probably be useful.

It's a big build, it would be nice to be able to see clearly all the details, including bypass jumpers (opto), wiring with PDT, etc, so we can be sure we aren't missing anything.

It's also possible that everything is ok, but one of the pin doesnt go into its pin-header... I remember connecting both boards was a tricky part of the building process, because the view is obstructed by all the parts.

To make sure that's not your issue, you could try to make it work outside the box first, and use wires to connect both boards.
It would also make it easier to perform voltage readings, and audio probe the signal path.

Yes, of course you are right. It will come too.
I just have to focus on a few other failu...  mean successful build yet to reach their full potential.
I actually thought I had done that before.
This thread came awake due to a other thread with precisely the same symptoms. But probably notnthe same cure. So stay in tune...
