Found this fuzz pcb and the posted schematic. I asked why the 10k trimmer was going to ground. He said the trimmer is there to adjust the bias. I said i can see that, but why do you have the trim set up like that, he said it is more stable. I think it is wrong and might limit the swing? Isn't it drawing more current than the circuit would? Also if you turn the trim fully 1 way you will have no sound.

When trimmer set at 50%, Q2 Collector load should be 2k5, not 5k (ignoring R2 & Vol pot)..

As for bias steadyness, yes.. :icon_wink:
(it is much more stable than a trimmer, wired as variable resistor, set between R2 and Q2 Collector..)

And yes, it needs a stopper resistor between lug 1 and GND..
