Could you compare its cost with its negative version (LM337T) in the bottom of the page..??

Anyway, in case you need a variable dual PS, you better build one, like below..
(although, it should be more effective to use a center tap transformer..)

finally i kept it simple and build something like the one from electrosmash...
can you tell me why in this build the capacitors from pin5 go to +9v? every other schematic says they go to ground...

another question:

ist there an error? fried two leds using this build so i left it blank... the resistor is on the wrong side of the led? is it?
