How do I read this transistor switch on a schematic?

Hey y'all,

I'm newer to reading schematics and was wondering if someone could help me with this part of the schematic? How do I wire these transistors up on this DPDT switch? Maybe a simplified drawing would be really helpful.

Just delete the middle contacts for the base and hard-wire each base of the two transistors to the base position on the PCB.
Send:     . .- .-. - .... / - --- / --. --- .-. -
According to the water analogy of electricity, transistor leakage is caused by holes.

Gotcha. I think I'm more confused because I wired it up exactly like I'm supposed to and it sounds the same on both sides... not sure what to do
