Respraying a pedal?

Cream (and also the mid grey I've decided on out of artistic integrity because it was the best of a bad range at Halfords) is good because decals will show up better.

Not sure the OCD and the ultimate drive are any more "angry teenager" than any other overdrive...

Aren't most commercial pedals powder coated? The recommendations i've seen for for painting over powder rcoat are to sand and prime.

Going from a black to a very light color a white primer should prevent bleed through of the dark colours, also just makes covering the black much easier.

Pedal like this: you can get very thin plastic sheet at a hobby/craft shop, cut to the face size, bang several 3/8-inch holes, and attach it with the pot nuts. Leave plain, use Sharpie, or paint/toner-transfer any exotic pedal image you want.
