Cap value on Philicorda vibrato circuit

So after almost 10 years of weekly use of my trusty old Philicorda organ (had done a full power supply recap back then but had left control panel small e-caps intact as everything was fine) the Vibrato wasn't work as it should. Very weak if any at all.

Replaced C415, C416, C418. Vibrato came to life back again. Common fix with those 50-60 years old organs.
C415/6 replaced with exact 150uF new ones.

I replaced C418 4.7uF cap with a fresh Panasonic 10uF one as couldn't find any 4.7 in my shelves.
Is there any (even slight) affect I should expect here?
Any reason sticking to original value?

Can't find where SK9 b goes but if you worry too much just place another 10μF cap in parallel, Sofoklis.. :icon_wink:
(although I presume you are flying the kite now..)

I'm flying kites everyday Antonis. 😛

Left as it is. Have noticed modern caps measure lower than their advertised value compared to old/NOS ones so I convinced myself it's ok & I can live with that.

But what would be some slight affects by increasing C418's value a bit? Talking about circuitry mostly here. Can we say it's acting like a coupling cap?

Trem will get weak at maximum speed. A 5u cap is not expensive.

Sh#t, I shouldn't have assembled the instrument back (Philicorda disassembly= pain in the a$$).
It's not about the price. Cannot source it locally, wouldn't like to order online just for one cap / time waiting etc.
@PRR: it has no speed control, just depth/vol trem's pot there.
Is it really necessary to replace with original value?
I have a NOS axial Siemens gold 4.7/100V one (measured excellent in my trusty DIY 5 transistor ESR Ω/100Khz cap tester) I can use (or another 10u in parallel). I'm just too lazy to pull the instrument back on the bench as it's already stacked on other organs, turntables & stuff in my studio..

I missed that. But it does have a intensity/depth control. Then don't fret about the cap value.
