Just doing a search here regarding guitar synths and I didn't find much in the way of DIY stuff. Maybe there isn't a great deal of interest, but for anyone who is curious I posted on MEF about a winter project I'd been working on that works well. I saw the Ethan Winer synth a while back on audioXpress but though it too complex for my needs - it's quite an involved build. The tracking and pitch accuracy seem to be pretty good, though.

Maybe it's me, but I don't see any other guitar synth projects there, and nothing turned up on Vinyl Factory - would you point me in the right direction with some specific links?
